FETTUCCINE NOODLES

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups of Bob's Red Mill 1-1 baking flour + more for dusting

  • 6 eggs


Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl put in the flour. Next, make a well in the flour for the eggs.

  2. Crack your 6 eggs into the well and take a whisk to mix the eggs.

  3. Use a fork or your hands to completely mix the pasta dough. Once combined it should resemble a ball of dough. (kneed dough for 2-3 minutes)

  4. Flatten your dough and feed through the pasta machine on the largest setting. Keep passing through the machine until your dough is about 2mm thick.

  5. Use the cutting setting on your pasta machine to cut the pasta.

  6. After repeating this process for all your dough your noodles are ready to cook!

  7. Place noodles into boiling water with 2 tablespoons of salt and cook for 8-10 minutes stirring every 30 seconds.

  8. Drain pasta and serve with your favorite sauce! (I used a homemade dairy-free fettuccine alfredo sauce in the pictures for this recipe)

  9. *This recipe makes 4 large plates of pasta*

ALTERNATE METHOD:

  1. In a large mixing bowl put in the flour. Next, make a well in the flour for the eggs.

  2. Crack your 6 eggs into the well and take a whisk to mix the eggs.

  3. Use a fork or your hands to completely mix the pasta dough. Once combined it should resemble a ball of dough. (knead dough for 2-3 minutes)

  4. Flour a flat surface and place a ball of pasta dough on top. Dust more flour on top.

  5. Take a rolling pin and roll out your pasta in all different directions to make a rectangle.

  6. Next using a knife slice your noodles they should be about 0.5-1 cm wide.

  7. After repeating this process for all your dough your noodles are ready to cook!

  8. Place noodles into boiling water with 2 tablespoons of salt and cook for 8-10 minutes stirring every 30 seconds.

  9. Drain pasta and serve with your favorite sauce! (I used a homemade dairy-free fettuccine alfredo sauce in the pictures for this recipe)
