CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
1/2 cup of butter
8 oz cream cheese
1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
4 cups of powdered sugar
In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment. Mix the butter, cream cheese, and vanilla on medium-high speed for 5 minutes.
Next, add the powdered sugar slowly until completely combined. Add in the salt and beat for 1 minute until smooth. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and beat again for 1 minute.
Now your cream cheese frosting is ready to go.
(Makes 4 cups of frosting)
