1 cup of softened butter
4 cups of powdered sugar
3/4 cup of cocoa powder
2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract
2 tablespoons of milk
Pinch of salt
In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment. Mix the butter and vanilla on medium-high speed for 8 minutes.
Next, add the powdered sugar slowly until completely combined. Add in the milk and beat for 1 minute until smooth.
Now add the cocoa powder and salt and mix for 4 minutes until all air bubbles are gone.
Now your chocolate buttercream frosting is ready to go.
